Hope That Doesn't Disappoint

A Song in the Night

I’d rather walk

in the valley with Jesus

than on a mountain-top

without Him.

He gives a song

in the night.

He sings loudly,

knitting our hearts together

with sweet chords of love.

I’d rather walk

through valley’s long trial

with the Shepherd—

than high on a mountain

without His sweet song.

Sing over me, Shepherd of my soul. Help me go forth with heart
and hands lifted up, s
inging Love’s sweet song.

I call to remembrance my song in the night. Psalm 77:6
He will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

Escape

August 2 -2013 100_2150

When my heart begins to fret

and my tears I can’t forget,

I run to you…in sweet escape,

and dare to look upon your face.

When my heart begins to trust

I recall I’m made from dust,

lean on you…in sweet embrace,

find your mercy, love, and grace.

When my heart begins to sing

and my soul brings offer-ing,

Heaven’s song of sweetest praise…

I rest in you, Ancient of Days.

When temptation comes; God will provide the way of escape, so that you
will be able to endure it. (Hebrews 10:13)

Never Will I Leave You

Never Will I Leave YouNever will I leave you
I heard my Father say
Never will I leave you
Never be dismayed

Never fail to believe
My Word to you is true
All that I have promised
for you my child I’ll do

Never doubt my presence
to cheer and to guide
Never fail to believe
the Lord is on your side

God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

Remember the Moments

Slide28

We embrace not sadness, nor tears
Just sweet moments of heart connects
When time stood still and faith whispered
Everything’s going to be all right

Toshiba Digital Camera

We embrace not loss of years
Just sweet memories, tucked in hearts
When time stood still and hope whispered
Everything’s going to be all right

We walk through storms, heads held high
No fear, for God is by our side
And time stands still and love whispers
Everything’s going to be all right.

Wait Till Clouds Roll By

Oceanside…. Dark clouds hide the sun.

Pounding waves slam against

rocks and boulders.

Rolling breakers hit shoreline,

washing away footprints in the sand.

Here I am hoping

the sun will break through.

Waiting till the clouds roll by.

So much like my life—This scene

at Oceanside.

Mornings when the sun

refused to shine.

Dark clouds would not go away.

Sometimes by faith….Alone

We wait.

Wait till the clouds roll by.

Do I regret darkness

that threatened to overwhelm?

No—without darkness,

I would not seek Light.

Jesus broke through me

with Radiant Light and Life!

He was with me all the time—

Waiting till the clouds rolled by.
