A Song in the Night

I’d rather walk
in the valley with Jesus,
than on a mountain-top
without Him.
He gives a song
in the night.
knitting our hearts together
with sweet chords of love.
I’d rather walk
through valley’s long trial
with the Shepherd—
than high on a mountain
without His song.

Shepherd of love, empower me to go forth with heart
lifted up, s
inging love’s sweet song.

I call to remembrance my song in the night. Psalm 77:6
He will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

  1. Dear Glenda, May I share this with a Dear Friend who’s husband went to Heaven this afternoon…I believe she would be so encouraged..I was!!!.Love You

    • Oh Norma,
Of course you may. That’s why I put it there to encourage others.
My goodness, another friend who was taken to heaven, leaving his wife behind.
May the Lord shine on you as you comfort her by your very presence.
      love you!

    • Joyce,
What a lovely thought to sit together and let our heart connect as we share the goodness of our Lord.
I’m hoping that will be a reality very soon.
Blessings to you sweet friend. I still consider you one of my mountaintop mama sisters.

    • Thanks for always giving words of encouragement. It has been a while since I’ve posted anything.
This one has been shared before, but I felt I was to post it. I went through a period just recently of
not being able to sleep well. Its better now but during that time I was hearing songs in the night from our Lord.
He never leaves us and won’t let us go, no matter what. I knew you would be one that hears Him sing over you too.
Blessings dear friend and sister I’ve yet to meet.
