Light of the Star of Bethlehem,
point us to the Christ Child
that we too may bow down
and worship Him.
Light of the Son of God—Jesus,
penetrate the darkness
that we too may be saved
and borne of God.
Light of the Savior of the world,
purify hearts grown cold
that we too may know Love
and Light of God.
“She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus,
for he will save his people from their sins”—Matthew 1:21.
For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who shone in our hearts
to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ—2 Corinthians 4:6.
