Peace in Conflict

There’s a peace borne out of conflict,

not of sweet respose.

The peace the Father sends

upon the one He knows.

Breathe upon our hearts

sweet Holy peace of God.

Release the fragrance

of the rose

upon the path we trod.

In times of stormy conflict,

through restless nights and days,

blow gently upon this rose

the sacrifice of praise.

I’ve shared this poem several times before, but felt led to post again. If you are experiencing heartache or conflict and need help to face the day, this is my prayer for you.

Dear heavenly Father, I pray You will breathe fresh peace upon the one whose heart seeks to know You. Whatever the confict, I pray Your living presence will strengthen and encourage, give help and hope today and the days to come. In the name of Jesus, Sweet Rose of Sharon, I pray. Amen.

  2. Hello, sweet Glenda! So glad to be back in a groove and reading your inspiring words. I love the images, especially your beautiful header. I’m praying this prayer for both of us today: Breathe upon our hearts, sweet Holy peace of God.
