Just A Little Rose

Just a little rose, wilted at times…yet not for long.

Like the rose, we come to Jesus…
trusting He understands like no other,
resting between His shoulders,
knowing we are held with strong arms of love.

Like a child, we come to Jesus…
believing He cares like no other,
pouring out our hearts,
receiving His comforting presence.

Like a little rose wilted at times…
Coming to Jesus we find
living water refreshing our souls…
And once again the sweet fragrance of the Rose fills the air.

On the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. He who believes in me, as the scriptures said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'” John 7: 37-38

  2. Amen Glenda. Glad that all His little roses–especially those of us who are a little wilted at times–can alway go directly to the Source to refresh our thirsty souls. Love and hugs to you 🙂
