Alone, I entered the garden,
where Jesus waits for me.
Alone, I sensed his presence,
the One who died for me.
Alone, I heard him whisper,
open your eyes and see.
My child I’m alive! Not dead!
Look at my scars, touch my hands.
Believe in what I said.
My body and blood was enough,
atoning sacrifice for all sin.
Those who come to the Lamb of God
need never doubt again.
“Put your finger here and look at my hands. Put your hand
into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”
John 20: 27 NLT
I come to the garden . . . with you . . . thank you for sharing these beautiful thoughts and pictures!

“I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love.” (Eph. 3:17 NLT)
Glenda – I LOVE this NLT version of this verse. Thank you for taking us on your walk in the garden with you.
