“Do not be afraid. He isn’t here. He has risen
from the dead, just as He said He would”
Just seven weeks ago, my mother passed from this life to her home in heaven.
I will never forget the comfort of those words the day family and friends
gathered to celebrate her life.
“She’s not here. She has risen.”
My mother loved yellow roses. I believe she is blooming in heaven today
emitting the fragrance of Jesus, the Rose of Sharon.
There’s a Rose that blooms in Heaven,
The object of God’s love.
She’s the one who’s gone before us,
She blooms in heaven above.
God says there are no tears in heaven.
They’ve all been wiped away,
And the One who’s gone before us,
Has given a brand new day.
They say there is much joy in heaven,
For loved ones who are there,
With joy await the day they’ll see,
Dear loved ones, oh so fair.
And on that Day we too will sing,
With angels from above.
It’s the Song of our Redeemer,
He’s the object of our love.
“I am the Resurrection and the Life. Those who believe in me,
even though they die like everyone else, will live again.
(John 11:25-26 NLT).
